1. Who we are
Srikanth Srinivasan operates hypnotherapygurgaon.com and the hypnotherapy practice described on it. We decide how your personal information is handled — in the language of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary.

2. What we collect

We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details. Payments are handled by a third-party payment gateway that processes those details directly.
Intake information, session records, and session recordings include health information, which is treated as sensitive and handled with corresponding care.
3. Session recordings
Where you consent to it, we record sessions in audio or video. A recording of a hypnotherapy session is health information and is treated as sensitive.
- Why — clinical quality and audit
- Basis — your consent, taken at intake. We do not record without it, and declining does not affect the session or the work we do together
- Where — on our own equipment at our premises in Gurugram, on a local network. Recordings are not uploaded to any cloud service
- How long — three years from the conclusion of our work together, after which they are deleted
- Sharing — recordings are not shared, published, or used for teaching, training, or promotion
You may withdraw your consent at any time, and you may ask us to delete a recording at any time, by emailing info@hypnotherapygurgaon.com.
4. Who else handles your information
We keep your information within our own systems as far as we can. A small number of service providers necessarily handle some of it on our behalf:
- Website hosting — stores this site and anything you submit through its forms
- Email — carries correspondence between us
- Video conferencing — carries the session itself. Recordings are made and kept on our own equipment, not on the platform
- Payment processing — handles your payment and your card, UPI or bank details, which we never see or store
These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide their service to us. Some of them operate servers outside India.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not use your clinical information for marketing.
We disclose information beyond this only where the law requires it, or where we believe there is a serious and immediate risk to someone's safety.

6. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete information we no longer need to hold
- Withdraw consent you have given — this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it
You may also nominate someone to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these, email info@hypnotherapygurgaon.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request or a complaint, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Cookies
This site uses only strictly necessary cookies — the small files that make the site work and keep it secure. These cannot be switched off.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the site behave.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Clinical records and session recordings are held in access-controlled storage on our own equipment, protected by passwords and encryption. Access is limited to the practitioner.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
9. How long we keep things

We delete information once these periods expire. You may ask us to delete it earlier, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
10. Children
This site and these services are not directed at children under 18. Where we work with a minor, we do so only with verifiable parental or guardian consent, in line with the DPDP Act.
