Terms of Service

Last updated 11 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of hypnotherapygurgaon.com and any hypnotherapy services you book through this website. The site and the practice are operated by Srikanth Srinivasan, based in Gurugram, Haryana, India ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a session or using this site, you agree to these terms.

2. What we provide

We provide clinical hypnotherapy sessions delivered online by video conference. Sessions are conducted by Srikanth Srinivasan, a certified clinical hypnotherapist with over 23 years of practice.

It is not medical or psychiatric treatment, and we do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Please read our Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

3. Who can book

Sessions are available to adults aged 18 and over. Clients under 18 may be seen only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We may decline or discontinue work where we judge that hypnotherapy is not appropriate for your situation, or that another form of care would serve you better. Where we do, we will tell you why and, where we can, suggest where to look next.

4. Booking and payment

Sessions are booked by appointment. A session is confirmed once we have agreed a time and payment has been received, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Our cancellation and refund terms are set out on the Refunds and Cancellations page, which forms part of these terms.

6. What we need from you

To get the benefit of a session, and for your own safety, you agree to:

  • Attend from a private, quiet place where you will not be interrupted
  • Use a stable internet connection and a device with working camera and audio
  • Not attend a session while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation requiring your attention
  • Not drive or operate machinery immediately after a session until you feel fully alert
  • Tell us, honestly and in full, about any medical or psychiatric diagnosis, medication, or history relevant to the work — including epilepsy, psychosis, bipolar disorder, dissociative conditions, or current psychiatric care
  • Not attend under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs

Withholding relevant health information may make the work ineffective or unsuitable, and we cannot be responsible for outcomes where information was withheld.

7. Recording

Sessions may be recorded, in audio or video. Your consent is taken at intake, and you are free to decline — declining does not affect the session or the work we do together.

Recordings are used for clinical quality and audit. They are stored securely on our own equipment at our premises, access is limited to the practitioner, and they are not shared with anyone else.

You may withdraw your consent at any time and ask us to delete a recording. Withdrawal does not affect recordings already made, but we will delete them on request.

You may not record, photograph, or transmit any part of a session without our prior written consent.

8. Confidentiality

What you tell us in session is confidential. We will not disclose it without your consent, except where we are required to by law, or where we believe there is a serious and immediate risk to your safety or the safety of another person. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our material

All scripts, recordings, worksheets, protocols, and written material we provide are our intellectual property or are licensed to us. They are supplied for your personal use only. You may not copy, share, publish, or resell them.

The content of this website — text, images, structure, and design — is likewise protected and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. No guarantee of outcome

Hypnotherapy works differently for different people. We will bring professional skill and care to your work, but we do not and cannot guarantee any particular result, timeframe, or number of sessions. Any indication we give of likely duration is an estimate based on experience, not a promise.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or in connection with our services is limited to the fees you have paid us for the session in question.

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your failure to disclose relevant health information, your failure to follow reasonable guidance given in session, or from interruptions caused by your internet connection or device.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.

12. Ending the arrangement

You may stop working with us at any time. We may end the arrangement where these terms are breached, where fees are unpaid, or where we judge continued work to be clinically inappropriate. Refunds in such cases are handled under our Refunds and Cancellations policy.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here affects any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
